JAMMU: Police on Friday nabbed a bootlegger and recovered 21 bottles of illicit liquor from his possession. As per details, a team from Police Station Kanha Chak headed by SHO Insp Vishav Pratap Singh, while on patrolling duty apprehended a person namely Tej Ram, son of Shonar, resident of Kirpanda Chattisgarh, presently staying at Marjali, who was coming from Jammu towards Mishriwala. During checking, 21 bottles of liquor were recovered from his possession. He was arrested on the spot and a case vide FIR No. 184/2020 under Section 48A of Excise Act was registered against him at Police Station Kahna Chak.
