STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: To promote the traditional culture of J&K and to aware the masses during the quarantine time, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) paid tributes on the 118th Death Anniversary of Swami Vivekanand in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production and presented 17th Saturday Musical Concert on the theme of ‘National Integration Communal Harmony’. The song was written by M.L Dogra, Chaiman BLSKS and sung by artistes. The programme was inaugurated by V.K Magotra, former Regional Directorate of Field and Publicity while Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra, Directorate of Health J&K Government and R.P Amla, Director of Concert were Guests of Honour. Music was assisted by Raju Bajgal, Instructor BLSKS. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective. The songs on COVID-19 were also presented and upload online on social media. The concert was reveals the early childhood of Swami Vivekananda. Usha Handoo, Troupe leader Stap, said in her address my tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his death anniversary, one of the greatest Indian spiritual and youth icon. The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who participated in the musical concert were K.K Joshi, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal, Bindia Arora, Nisha Okheda, Mukesh Arora, Mohd Afroz, Sumita Bhat and many others presented enthralled performances. Deepak Kumar presented the vote of thanks.
