STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Bhartiya Janata Party ‘leader’ Aditi Sharma was booked over charge of barging into a temple here on Friday. “An FIR 3/19 under Sections 448, 382, 147 and 427 RPC was lodged against Aditi who is also President of Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust and others, at Police Station Nowabad Jammu on a complaint of Radhey Sham, son of Chandi Parshad, resident of Uttarakhand at present Pujari Shiv Mandir, Tirath Nagar, Talab Tillo Jammu”, police said adding that Radhey Sham has alleged that Aditi along with Tirth Kumar, son of Des Raj, resident of Tirath Nagar Talab Tillo Jammu, Neel Choudhary, Mulkh Raj and Dilip Singh barged in the temple premises with vested interest. “On this, the Police Post Talab Tillo Jammu has lodged a FIR against all the accused under the relevant sections of law”, police added. Meanwhile, Aditi Sharma, in a statement issued here, said “There is a malicious and politically motivated allegation leveled against me by an outsider functioning as priest who had been asked to vacate the Shiv Temple premises at Tirath Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu by the Shiv Shakti Sarvdharam Welfare Trust with its Head Office at Tirath Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu which had duly passed a resolution to this effect in September 2018.” “I also appeal to higher police authorities to expeditiously probe the role of SHO and Chowki Officer and initiate suitable proceedings against them as documentary evidence has already been submitted to them,” stated Aditi Sharma in a press release.
