STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Amid outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, General Secretary BJP J&K and former Minister, Dr D.K Manyal along with Neena Gupta Corporator Ward No. 50 Channi Himmat, Advocate Ishant Gupta Co-Incharge IT & Social Media BJP J&K, Poonam Gupta Ward President BJP Mahila Morcha, Kamlesh Magotra Ward General Secretary BJP Mahila Morcha and Trishula Gupta, social activists with the contribution of Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (GPC), Sector 1, Channi Himmat has distributed dry ration among all needy and daily worker families at Sector 5 and few at Sectors 7 and 3 Channi Himmat Ward No 50. During the occasion, Dr Manyal said that BJP is always keen to help the needy persons as and when required. Neena Gupta appealed people to stay at home, maintain social distancing and other precautionary measures to protect themselves and others from getting contracted with coronavirus. Advocate Ishant Gupta requested the public to kindly participate and support the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by switching off all lights of their homes for 9 minutes at 9 PM on Sunday i.e, April 5.
