JAMMU: Bhargav Sports Club defeated Hockey Legends 8-6 in a high scoring game to reach the final of the senior event of the ongoing 4th Mata Joginder Kaur Six-a-Side Hockey Tournament at Bhargav School grounds, Gadigarh, near here on Saturday.Jaswinder Singh played match winning game for the Bhargav Club netting most of the goals while Parveen Singh reduced the margin for Hockey Legends.The technical panel in today’s match was led by National umpire, P.P Singh and Chamkor Singh.In today’s match, Chairman Unique Public School, Jasbir Singh was Chief Guest, who interacted with the teams. Principal of Bhargav School, Vikas Sharma and senior Paramjeet Singh were the Guests of Honour.This tournament is being organised by Amarjeet Singh and Sukhbir Singh (District Agriculture Officer) in memory of their mother, Joginder Kaur.Meanwhile, as per the organisers, the final and prize distribution function shall take place on a later date.
