STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Block Development Council (BDC), Chairperson, Arun Kumar Sharma here visited Nalah Panchayat area and took stock of undergoing developmental works. Sharma also checked the progressive report of the ongoing projects in the area.After walking by foot to the Panchayat areas, the BDC Chairman interacted with the local residents and took stock of their grievances.The residents of the Nalah Panchayat appraised him regarding the issues they face besides reprised him the developmental work pending for last 10 years.After keenly hearing the public issues, the BDC Chairman assured the residents that their issues and demands will be surely taken to the higher ups and will be redressed as soon as possible. “The pending work for nearly a decade will be resumed and completed soon,” Arun assured the locals present.BDC Chairman also discussed with the locals the forthcoming projects for the Panchayat and informed them that multiple numbers of developmental works are in pipeline and after their execution the scenario of the Panchayat will change for good.In the public gathering, Arun Kumar Sharma appealed the residents to coordinate with the administration and keep a check on the developmental works carried out in their areas. “Keep a check on the standard of the material being used in various works,” Arun Kumar appealed to the residents and asked the undertaking agency for timely completion of the works.
