STATE TIMES NEWS RAMBAN: A batch of 79 Haj pilgrims hailing from different parts of Ramban district left for Srinagar from here today. District Development Commissioner, Showkat Aijaz Bhat in presence of SSP, Anita Sharma, ADDC, Nawab Din and senior officers, flagged off the buses carrying the Hajj pilgrims. While interacting with them, the DDC extended good wishes to the pilgrims and hoped for their comfortable journey to holy cities of Mecca and Medina. He also wished them well-being, successful Haj-e-Baitullah. Meanwhile, a special prayer was also held in which large number of people gathered to pray for the successful completion of the Holy Haj by the pilgrims. After one day stay at Srinagar, the pilgrims would fly for the Jiddah on July 22.
