STATE TIMES NEWS RAJOURI: Chowdhary Volleyball Club Bagla won the Range Level Volleyball Tournament 2019 organised by Jammu and Kashmir Police, Rajouri-Poonch Range under Civic Action Programme, which concluded here on Monday. In the final match played today, Chowdhary Volleyball Club Bagla outplayed Darhal Volleyball Club-A by 3-2 (25-23, 25-18, 23-25, 22-25, 15-13) and clinched the title. In this two days volleyball tournament, eight teams from Poonch, Surankote, Mendhar, Thannamandi, Darhal, Manjakote, Rajouri and Balakote areas participated. In the award ceremony, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri, Yougal Manhas along with Additional Superintendent of Police, Liyaqit Ali, Deputy Superintendents of Police, Zaheer Abass, Mohammad Latif and Senior Prosecuting Officer of range police office, Mohammad Sayeed distributed the cash prizes, medals and trophies to the players including winner and runner- up trophies and sports kits. Speaking on the occasion, Yougal Manhas said that the volleyball tournament held under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Vivek Gupta was aimed to provide a platform to the talented volleyball players to show their talent.
