State Times News KISHTWAR: The region of Kishtwar has always been a happy blend of religions and the Army has continuously strived to strengthen these prevalent bonds of friendship in society through its community development programmes. As part of this endeavor Army organised a Quami Ekta Meet at Kishtwar. The meet was aimed at promoting regular engagement of religious leaders of all communities against the nefarious design of adversaries which are trying to deteriorate the peaceful situation in the region. The meet was attended by 12 key opinion makers of the area. During the interaction, the opinion makers were informed about Army’s initiative towards development various projects and the commitment of Army to stand in “Thick and Thin” with the local populace. The meet was well received and the local leaders greatly appreciated and applauded the support provided by the Army in all spheres.
