STATE TIMES NEWS Gool: As part of the ongoing efforts by the Indian Army to reinforce peace, tranquility and strengthen the spirit of communal harmony in the region, Indian Army organised a Maulvis’ Conclave at Gool. The conclave was organised with an aim to facilitate free exchange of ideas and thought by Maulvis on measures to empower youth and women, maintaining communal harmony and improving the infrastructure in local schools and Madrassas in the area. A total of 49 Maulvis and social workers participated in the conclave. The Maulvis expressed their appreciation to the Army for this initiative and for all assistance being provided to empower the local community.
