State Times NewsRAJOURI: In a bid to foster brotherhood and communal harmony, Army organised Eid-ul-Zuha celebrations for the locals of Rajouri Town at Rane Hawai Patti (ALG) on 12 August 2019. The event was attended by Senior officials of Indian Army, eminent citizens, religious leaders, officials from civil administration and local Police. The celebrations commenced with a motivational song presented by students of Daksh Boys Hostel, Dassal Gujran followed by address of eminent citizens from various communities, youth leaders, Police and Indian Army officials who motivated the gathering to maintain the existing mutual cooperation and brotherhood in Rajouri Town. Station Commander, Rajouri Garrison felicitated locals of Rajouri town along with representatives of civil administration, Police and CAPF which were present during the event and also appreciated the positive efforts of locals of Rajouri and Security Forces in maintaining communal harmony in the Town. The celebrations ended with distribution of sweets amongst all the attendees. Such act of benevolence and gaiety extended by locals and Indian Army as a joint venture is a proof of good relations and mutual trust which exist between the people and the Security Forces and also speaks volumes of the secular and harmonious spirit of brotherhood prevailing in the town.
