STATE TIMES NEWS MENDHAR: In continuation of efforts to educate the AWAAM on COVID-19 Pandemic, Indian Army organised lectures at Marhote and Mendhar, in District Poonch. The people were urged to restrict movement as part of Lockdown and maintain a notebook to track the people whom they have come in contact with since last one month. They were also briefed not to panic as all the relevant measures are being taken both by Civil Administration and Indian Army in fight against COVID-19. People were appreciative of efforts being undertaken by Indian Army and assured full cooperation in fight against COVID-19. BATOTE: In pursuance to the common goal of ‘Jawan Aur Awaam Karein Corona Tamaam’ and to contain the spread of novel corona virus, Indian Army instituted various innovations to aware and sensitize Awaam of Dharmund, Batote(J&K). Indian Army modified a light vehicle by placing loud speakers, LED TVs on the vehicle through which awareness messages can be displayed and announced amongst the local populace. Area sanitization also carried out by fogging the area using improvised measures to prevent spread of COVID-19.
