STATE TIMES NEWSPOONCH: In continuation of fight against COVID 19 pandemic, Indian Army distributed health and medical safety kits to the needy people of Chhajla area of Tehsil – Mendhar in Poonch District (J&K). The aim was to assist local population of remote areas of Poonch district, which lack basic medical Infrastructure. The medical kits distributed were Hand Sanitizers, Surgical Masks and Simple Masks. A live demonstration was also carried out to educate the local population about use of medical kits to avoid spread of COVID-19. The people were also informed to adhere to the guidelines given by civil administration and follow all the preventive measures, so that they are not affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This effort of Indian Army was highly appreciated by the locals and civil administration as well.
