STATE TIMES NEWSKISHTWAR: Army on Friday organised training on commercial mushroom farming at Shergwari for locals of Kishtwar region. “The training programme was conducted from August 16 to October 18, 2019 and was attended by 16 locals hailing from far flung areas of Shergwari region,” Defence spokesperson, Lt Col Devender Anand said. “The training was conducted with an aim to provide self employment to locals of the region. This training will enable the locals to achieve economic independence by empowering them financially,” he added. The locals expressed their gratitude towards the army for the noble initiative and providing an opportunity to them to acquire skills for employment which can further be developed into a profession and a means of decent livelihood.
