STATE TIMES NEWS BANIHAL: Army undertook a project to impart computer operator and programming assistant classes for 30 girl students through Industrial Training Institute, Banihal. The project was conducted over a period of six months. The overall aim of the project was to familiarize students with handling of computers and acquire technical skills of an operator as well as of a programming assistant. The certification from Industrial Training Institute will have a greater weight age and will be instrumental in providing better job opportunities in the region. On the occasion, village Sarpanch thanked the Superintendent and staff of Industrial Training Institute, Banihal and expressed his gratitude towards Army for enabling students of rural areas to avail government accredited courses.
