The Govt should take into account the concerns of farmers and the poor section of society whether their action will make farmers landless,” he said.Khan said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have already suffered in 30 years of terrorism. “These farmers have hopes with the Govt that their interests will be protected and their land will not be snatched. They should not be punished for the crime, they have not committed,” he said while standing in support with the farmers of J&K.Khan said that the Govt should frame a policy for the betterment of the farmer’s community and should not take any decision in haste to uproot them from their homes and land their forefathers have cultivated. In the light of the concerns of all the farmers’ community, he said, the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha should personally look into the issues and constitute a high power committee with special focus on the protection and promotion of agriculture sector and farmer’s interests.“We should provide a public friendly Govt and encourage their survival with prosperity by bringing them out of poverty with various schemes,” he added.
