Jammu: A general meeting of the Anjuman-e-Islah-ul-Muslimeen Jammu was held on Monday to discuss about holding the Seerat-ul-Nabi on the eve of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal falling on October 30, 2020. It was unanimously decided to cancel the programme held at central Eidgah, Residency Road, Jammu in view of COVID-19, keeping into consideration the health and welfare of the general public this year.The speakers advised the Muslim community to hold a limited programme in their local mosques, following the safety norms as prescribed by the government so as to avoid any threat to the life and safety of public at large.The speakers extended their greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (SAWS) and prayed for the end of the pandemic across the globe so that humanity has a sigh of relief.The meeting was chaired by Abdul Majid and attended by Hussain Ahmad Siddiqui, Akram Ahmad, Ch. Jamat Ali, G.A Khwaja, Mohd. Saleem Khan, Mohd. Hussain Malik, Rehmat-ullah Malik, Mufti Abdul Hakim and Molvi Abdul Haq.
