Dear Editor, Through your esteemed daily, I would like to bring to the kind notice of DC Jammu, that the people of Jammu have always remained cooperative with administration in every aspect and for the larger benefit of nation and society. The weekend lockdown which started in Jammu district also witnessed cooperation from the public and business society of Jammu, but as Raksha Bandhan is on Monday, the weekend lockdown has came just like a bolt from the blue for shopkeepers selling Rakhis and Sweets. I would like to request you to allow relaxation for these two type of establishments on Sunday permitting them to open their shops for at least 5 to 6 hours with all the SOPs and strict observance of guidelines so that they can sell their goods as festive season is the only feasible time for such establishments to earn. Adv Nitin Bakhshi, President Young Lawyers Association, J&K High Court, Jammu.
