STATE TIMES NEWS RAMBAN: State Joint Action Committee of All Jammu & Kashmir Graduate Engineers Association (AJKGEA) on Tuesday staged a protest against state government for not fulfilling their genuine demands. A deputation of the district unit of State Joint Action Committee of AJKGEA led by District President Er. Vaid Singh also submitted the memorandum of demands to District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban Showkat Aijaz Bhat. The deputation sought early redressal of their demands from Governor administration including issuance of SRO regarding Assured Career Procreation (ACP)for Engineers already approved by the state government on the pattern of doctors, regularization/confirmation of service of Engineers at all levels, filling of available vacancies at all levels in parent and allied Engineering departments by the way of promotions, rederessal of pay anomalies of Junior engineers and granting grade of 4260 instead of 4200 and enhancement of fixed travelling allowance in favour of Field Engineers. POONCH: A massive protest was lodged at Poonch by state joint action committee of all J&K graduate engineers association demanding attention of government over their genuine demands.
