JAMMU: National Executive Member, Kissan Yuva Samiti, BJP J&K UT, Aditi Sharma on Monday filed a complaint against former Chief Minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti for disrespecting Tricolor.As per details, Aditi Sharma filed a complaint with Gandhi Nagar Police that former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has issued a statement disrespecting Tricolor.The complaint reads, “Applicant is a law abiding citizen of India and respect Constitution of India and a permanent resident of J&K UT. That on October 23, 2020, the above said accused namely Mehbooba Mufti gave a press conference before media persons in Srinagar stating that ‘We the Kashmiri does not obey the direction of our Govt and not believe in constitution of India’. That she also stated in the presser that the Kashmiri people don’t respect National Flag (i.e. Tiranga). That, Mehbooba Mufti openly threatened dignities of our country as well as of J&K UT. That our Constitution of India and Section Commission of India do not allow any party to speak against the nation and National flag i.e., Tiranga. That we all the citizens of our nation and J&K UT will not allow anyone to speak such language against our pride i.e., our constitution and respected national flag. It is therefore prayed that a FIR may be lodged against accused President PDP, Mehbooba Mufti under relevant sections of IPC and the accused may kindly be arrested immediately so that peaceful atmosphere of J&K UT may not be disturbed.”
