STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: The management of Government Medical College on Thursday said that it has taken adequate measures to maintain adequate supply of Oxygen Cylinders for Covid positive patients under treatment in the GMC and Associated Hospitals.Around 440 cylinders have been consumed in the last 12 hours in GMC only, said Medical Superintendent, Dr Keerti Bhushan Sharma.Dr Keerti said that there are total 129 patients in GMC out of which 29 are in isolation ward, 14 are in CCU, 37 in ward no 3 and 32 in ward no 7 and 17 are in HUD and of these 116 are on oxygen supply and 19 are on Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure facility. It was further informed that all 45 Covid patients in Chest Disease Hispital are also on oxygen supply, while 3 out of 10 patients in Gandhi Nagar Hospital are also on oxygen supply. He further informed that three deaths have also been reported in GMC in the past 24 hours.
