Acute water shortage in Bharat Nagar

Dear Editor,
We, the residents of Bharat Nagar Enclave Lane no 2, are facing acute shortage of water. Our colony is facing acute shortage of water for the last 10 years due to irregular supply of water in the area. It looks odd to report but the fact is that water is usually supplied to our colony after a gap of 6-7 days and that too for a short period of time. We have many times requested the concerned to look into the matter but all in vain as the situation remains the same. Due to COVID pandemic, we need more water to maintain hygiene and meet our daily needs but it is unfortunate that we are not even getting water to drink. Almost every week we are left with no other option than to buy water from tankers to meet our needs.
It is also pertinent to mention here that we are paying regular water charges and still are not getting regular water supply.
We appeal to the PHE Department to look into the matter and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
