State Times NewsJAMMU: Police on Tuesday nabbed an absconder who was evading arrest for last 10 years.As per details, a complaint was lodged at City Court Jammu against a person namely Prem Chand, son of Karam Chand, resident of Gajansoo Jammu under 138 N.I Act on September 14, 2010. After then, the courted issued a number of summons against the accused for appearance in court but he didn’t appear. On January 27, 2020, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants under section 512 of CrPC.Acting on specific information, a team of Border Police Post Gajansoo led by Incharge Sub Inspector Lalit Sharma raided his native place and arrested the accused who was absconding/evading his arrest for last 10 years. The arrest has been made under guidance of SHO Kanha Chak Inspector Vishwa Pratap Singh and under supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
