Absconder arrested

KATHUA: Rajbagh police on Friday arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for last 1 year. As per details, a joint team from Police Station Raj Bagh and Police Post Marheen raided Gujjar Basti Korepunnu and arrested an accused namely Liyakat Ali, son of Mohd Shareef, resident of Korepunnu, who was evading arrest from last more than a year. The accused was wanted in a case registered vide FIR No 171/2019 under Sections 307, 353, 332, 341, 323, 147 and 382 of RPC.
