STATE TIMES NEWS SRINAGAR: Continuing its efforts to implement advisories issued by the Administration for containing spread of COVID-19, Kulgam Police on Wednesday fined 75 persons for violating Government orders and recovered a fine of Rs 14,600 from them. Police has once again requested for following directions issued by Government in order to prevent spread of COVID-19, adding that all those found violating the restrictions will be dealt strictly. Meanwhile, extending support to administration in its fight against coronavirus, Police distributed face masks among people during a massive drive in Kulgam district. A Police party led by Incharge Police Post Mirbazar distributed masks among people and advised them to follow precautionary measures in order to prevent spread of COVID-19 pandemic. General public of the area has appreciated the efforts of Kulgam police for launching such drives.
