STATE TIMES NEWSRAMBAN: Police on Monday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 5 bovines and arresting a smuggler.As per the details, a special Naka was laid by police of Police Post Sangaldan led by In-Charge Police Post Sangaldan SI Sameer Ahmed at Shailkund Sangaldan. During checking, an Auto (JK19/7030) was intercepted and was found laden with 5 bovines, which were rescued by the police. The accused driver, namely Muzaffer Ahmed, son of Mohd Aslam Zarger, resident of Duksar Gool failed to produce any document regarding transportation of bovines. He was arrested on the spot and vehicle was also seized. In this regard a case vide FIR No. 60/20 under Section of 188 IPC and 11 of PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Gool. The entire operation was carried out under supervision of Insp Muneer Ahmed SHO Gool and Pradeep Kumar SDPO Gool and close supervision of Addl SP Sanjay Parihar and overall supervision of SSP Ramban Haseeb ur Rehman.
