STATE TIMES NEWS SAMBA: Police on thursday worked out a cattle theft case by recovered all 40 stolen cattle with the arrest of accused person. As per the details, On May 31, 2020, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Samba by one woman namely Khushid Bibi, wife of Shifu, resident of Gujjar Basti, Sujwan, Samba stating therein that on May 29, a person namely Bashir, son of Alam, resident of Rakh Barotian, Vijaypur along with some other persons entered into her house, started beating her, damaged her household items and forcefully took 40 cattle. Acting on the compliant, a case vide FIR No. 140/2020 under sections 382/323/452/354-B/147/427 IPC was registered at Police Station Samba and the said accused Bashir was arrested. On the disclosure of accused person, all the 40 stolen cattle were recovered from his Dera at Rakh Barotian, Vijaypur.
