STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: Police on Saturday foiled two bovine smuggling bids by rescuing 29 bovines and arresting three smugglers in two incidents at Udhampur. As per the details, Udhampur Police during Naka in the area intercepted a truck (JK02CC-9277) and found it laden with 16 bovines. The accused namely Suwan Singh, resident of Assam was nabbed and a case under relevant sections of law was registered against him. Chenani Police also rescued 13 bovines and arrested two smugglers which have been identified as Viplav Singh and Mohd Suleman. A case under relevant sections of law was registered against them.
