State Times News SUNDERBANI: The Sunderbani youth held a strong protest led by District General Secretary of Youth Congress Govind Sudan against the continued ban on Internet Service for the last more than 100 days due to which the student community, business community, press correspondents and common men are worst affected. Sudan said that due to this ban the studies of students have suffered for about four months which is likely to affect their career. “The representatives of the business community are alleging that their business is badly hit and they suffered financial loss to a great extent”, he said adding that scribes are also facing lot of difficulty in sending the news reports as all the channels of communication have become redundant due to internet ban. Sudan said that the ban on internet services in Jammu and Kashmir though was a requirement on account of security reasons at some stage, but its continued blockage for about four months has become un-warranted as there had been no unusual security incident in the Union Territory after revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir. Since the normalcy has prevailed in Kashmir also as per the statement of Home Minister, Sudan said that it should now become a priority for the Government to restore internet without any delay. Prominent among those who spoke include Sanjay Kumar, Sahil Raina and Mangu Raina.
