RAJOURI: Youth activists belonging to Pahari community on Saturday visited Pahari Hostel to inquire about the condition of hostel management system that includes quality of food being provided everyday, infrastructure, educational material and others.
On their visit, the students alleged that the government has adopted a non-serious attitude towards development of the hostel.
The students alleged that no grant has been released by the department concerned so far for the purchase of uniforms, books and other important things for the students staying in the hostel.
The activists appealed to the government to take the matter seriously and provide all the facilities which are required for the overall development of the students.
Pahari Advisory Board member Tazeem Dar who was present during the visit appealed to the government to take serious note of loopholes in the system.
Others present were Sayed Shadab Shah, Aquib Wani, Touseef Khan, Parwaz Khan, Irfan Malik, Rajat Rez and Mustafa Khan.
