STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) on Thursday organised an extension lecture on “Industry Expectations” for B.E. 5th Semester students of Electrical, Computer Science & IT Engineering. The lecture was delivered by Naveen Sharma, Director Jetking India Ltd. Hardware and Networking Institute. The session began with welcome address by Prof. A.K Srivastava, Director YCET. The speaker briefed the students about the upcoming latest technologies used by industry to increase the job opportunities for young engineers. His main perspective was to make the students understand about the need of industry that students should have the practical knowledge about hardware as well as latest software. B.R Verma (Chief Coordinator), Dinesh Gupta (Coordinator, Planning & Development), Lovenesh Talwar (HOD Electrical Department), Robin Kumar (HOD Computer Science and IT department) along with the faculty members were also present there.
