STATE TIMES NEWSJAMMU: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) on Wednesday organised series of lecture on ‘Entrepreneurship and Personality Development’ for the students of first semester in which two dignitaries namely Vinod Kumar, Faculty member, JKEDI, Jammu and Adarsh Kumar, Manager Havells India Pvt. Ltd. were the guest speakers. In the first session, Vinod Kumar stressed on the fact that in the current age, technology has gone from novelty to necessity. While interacting with the students, he said that entrepreneurship compels an individual to continuously evaluate the existing modes of business operations so that more efficient and effective systems can be evolved and adopted. The students assured that they will become job giver not the job seeker. In the second session, Adarsh Kumar interacted with the students and said that personality development is the most basic need of the time. “A person’s personality is the quality, which makes him an exemplary in the crowd,” he said. He discussed about the various windows of the professionalism like neat appearance, proper demeanor, reliability, competency, communication, etiquettes, ethics that shape an individual’s personality. The sessions were attended by Director YCET Prof (Dr.) Anoop Kumar Srivastava , Chief coordinator Er. B.R Verma, all HoDs, coordinators, faculty members and students.
