JAMMU: Demanding issue of joining orders in favour of 221 writ petitioners, Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS), heading the employment issue of the community, led by its President R.K Bhat on Wednesday held a protest near Press Club here.
Bhat, while addressing the protesters, said that it is unfortunate on the part of government which has failed to implement the High Court judgment within stipulated time bound period of two months.
There is clear cut direction to the Government and SSRB by the Division Bench of Jammu and Kashmir High Court headed by the Chief Justice of the JK vide LPA No. 207/2012, CMP No. 346/2012 passed on 2nd June, 2015 and SWP No. 242/2013, MP No. 270/2013 dated 8th July, 2015 in favour of 221 writ petitioners under PMs Return and Rehabilitation Package but unfortunately for last almost two years government is adopting delaying tactics, he alleged.
He appealed to Chief Minister to issue joining orders in favour of 221 writ petitioners without further delay, failing which they will be forced to re-start indefinite protest.
Others who addressed the gathering include B.K Bhat and Sunil Koul-Vice Presidents, Manoj Handoo-General Secretary, Ajay Safaya and Sanjay Ganjoo-Secretaries, Ajay Koul, Sunil Dhar, Deepak Koul, Sunil Bhat, Ajay Raina and Ajay Chaman.
Among Advisors who addressed the protesters include D.N Bhat, Shiban Krishan, Pushkar Nath Pandita, Mohan Lal and Bushan Lal.
