STATE TIMES NEWSBHADARWAH : Red Ribbon Club GDC Bhadarwah in association with J and K AIDS Society organised World AIDS Day 2019 on theme ‘Communities make the difference’. The programme was presided over by Prof. Davinder Kumar Principal GDC Bhaderwah. The programme was organised by Dr. Wahied Khawar Balwan, Prof. Naz Zargar, Prof. Pinky Kotwal, and Zakir Ali. The programme started with welcome address by Dr. Wahied Khawar Balwan Nodal Officer Red Ribbon Club who also threw light on prevalence of AIDS and reason behind this year’s theme that how can communities will play role in awareness about this pandemic disease. During this programme many students participated and presented their views. Among them InshaIkhlaq , Ahaitsham and AnushaBatt secured first , second and third position. Jury members on the occasion were Prof. Anuradha Sharma, Prof. Virender Singh and Dr. IshaSlathia. The programme culminated with vote of thanks by Prof. Pinky Kotwal. Apart from symposium, quiz section was also held. The whole programme was anchored by RinkuParihar and Monika Parihar students of college.
