STATE TIMES NEWS AKHNOOR: Family of a woman who died of burn injuries, and locals on Friday staged a protest leveling allegation against her in-laws for killing her. As per the details, Krishama Devi, wife of Sanjay Kumar, resident of Resham Ghar Colony Jammu died after she received burn injuries. Leveling allegation against in-laws behind her death, deceased’s family members and locals staged protest and sought probe into the incident. Shakuntala Devi, mother of Krishama Devi alleged that her son-in-law husband (Sanjay Kumar) and his family were harassing her daughter over dowry for the last one year. She further stated that many a times they fulfilled their demands but this time she was charred to death. Her parents and other people of village shifted the body to her parental village for cremation and also lodged a complaint at Police Station Bakshi Nagar Jammu. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No 48/2019 under Section 304-B RPC was lodged.
