JAMMU: The ten days long food festival with blissful fusion of Oriental and Indian cuisine ‘Wok and Skewers’ commenced here at Hotel K C Residency’s rooftop restaurant The Terrace.
The buffet spread will feature authentic culinary delicacies prepared and presented by Chef Kaushal Sharma and his team of expert chefs. The Food Festival will continue upto August 27, 2017.
During the food festival, guests will be able to taste modern and popular dishes from India, Siberia, Thailand, Vietnam and Chinese provinces. From Tandoori Chicken to Amritsari Macchi, Roganjosh to Malai Kofta, crispy chicken with molten dry chilli to Hunan style steamed fish, Cantonese style smoked short ribs and many other culinary treats will be presented to the guests at the Indo Oriental buffet spread. The buffet spread will feature exclusive starters, salads, main courses and desserts for all the guests to enjoy.
“Chili chicken, Hakka noodles, and manchurian, to name just a few, can be found on many Indian restaurant menus and as street cart staples. However, these dishes are not simply products of fusion food trends-rather; they are edible relics of India’s history of inhabitants and food culture,” said Rahul Jandial, General Manager, Hotel K C Residency, while briefing media persons here.
“With comfort food from every cuisine stuffed with melange of spices and distinct flavours, we try to ensure there is something for the entire family which has come out to enjoy the meal,” Jandial added.
