A highly sophisticated X-Ray machine, lying at the Primary Health Centre Bhour Camp, is yet to be used for want of a technician. The machine was placed for inauguration of the PHC in June last year.
According to sources, the X-Ray machine had been put to impress the audience and the dignitary (a minister) was obviously very pleased in saying that the then government had taken medicare at the doorsteps of the people.
It was not immediately known as to where from the machine had been shifted to the PHC and what was the purpose. The Incharge Medical Officer could not explain under-utilization of the diagnostic equipment or the initiatives taken so far to get a technician posted for making better use of the X-Ray machine.
The locals of the area expressed their annoyance over unproductive deployment of the staff and machinery, which remains under utilized for one or the other reason.
