JAMMU: An initiative of international football player from Jammu, Arun Malhotra, the week-long coaching camp being organised in collaboration with J and K State Sports Council for under- 16 football players commenced on Monday at MA Stadium, here. As usual, a big rush of around 100 young boys and girls turned up for the special camp. All the campers have been provided with sports kits (stuff) by Arun Malhotra as a token of encouragement.
The camp was inaugurated by AGM J&K Bank and one of the top footballers of the past, Vipan Gupta, who was Chief Guest.
He was accompanied by President J and K Football Association (JKFA), Zameer Thakur, member J and K State Sports Council, Nazir Ahmed, Superintendent of Police, Ajay Sharma, Charan Das, Zindi, Sports Officer, Ravi Singh, Rajinder, K.P.S Jasrotia, Inspector Ranjit Singh, Rajesh Sumbria, Rakesh Kumar, Deepak Sangral and Atul Gupta.
Since the gathering was comprised of veteran and senior football players, everyone was involved in presenting sports kits to the young and budding footballers of Jammu.
