Srinagar: As the incessant rains continued to lash Kashmir valley since Sunday, the water level in Jehlum in continously increasing.
According to gauge reading at 8am, the Jehlum in Sangam was flowing at 20.95 ft (RED) and in Ram Munshi Bagh at 19.10 ft (RED). However the level at Asham is 12.33 ft (GREEN).
Pertinently the Chief Engineer I&FC had directed field staff to report for duties immediately.
