VIJAYPUR: Member Legislative Assembly, Chander Prakash Ganga on Wednesday launched Rs. 20 lakh blacktopping work on 1 km road at Village Nathwal.
“It is a matter of great satisfaction that a durable road network has been ensured, as promised, to people of Vijaypur Constituency with blacktopping of all the roads from Bari-Brahmana to Gurha Slathia and Gurha Slathia to Vijaypur”, the MLA maintained.
Complimenting the people for fulfillment of their long pending demand for this road, the MLA said that he is determined to serve his people whatever may be the circumstances. It gives me immense pleasure when the people express their satisfaction over the quality and quantity of development works being done in their areas, he added, “I am always at the disposal of my people who have confirmed their faith in me, will serve them with all my strength and dedication”.
Taking a dig at those political parties who are shunning their participation in the upcoming civic and Panchayat polls, the MLA said that it is quite unfortunate for the people of the State that they are being deceived by those whom they voted several times with a hope of their better development. “I caution and advise them not to play with the interests of the innocent people as if they have the power to make you the king then they also posses the potential to dethrone you”.
Castigating the political parties opposing revocation of Article 35 A, the MLA said that it is quite unfortunate that these so called leaders are against revocation of this law just to satiate their political gains. He asked these parties to elaborate the complete details of this Article to the public instead of disseminating misinformation about the same. If people of the State are being deprived of special rights then it is only due to this anti State law, he added while elaborating on the futility of this Article.
“A state requires strengthened relations with the Center for rapid growth and development and revocation of this Article will further cement J&K’s bonding with the Center”, he asserted.
