State Times News KATRA: Vidushi Abrol, Research Scholar, Dept. of Biotechnology, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) has brought laurels to the institution by bagging 1st prize in oral presentation for her paper, titled “Improvement of Tolypocladium inflatum Through Chemical Mutagenesis for the High Yield of Cyclosporine” at National Conference on Fungal Biology: Recent Trends and Future Prospects and 44th Annual Meeting of The Mycological Society of India, held at University of Jammu. Abrol has been pursuing her PhD under the joint supervision of Dr. Sundeep Jaglan, Scientist, CSIR-IIIM, Jammu, and Dr. Sharada M. Potukuchi, Associate Professor, Dept. of Biotechnology (SMVDU). Vidushi Abrol thanked Dr. Sanjeev Jain, VC, SMVDU for providing her a high-class research environment at SMVDU and expressed her gratitude to her supervisors.
