RAJOURI: Senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta on Thursday visited remote areas of Kalakote and held series of public meetings at Phali, Panjara and Sailsui. He personally investigated the problems faced by local residents there and had firsthand account of their genuine grievances.
While interacting with the gathering there he promised immediate solution to their grievances. He further said that sustainable and equitable development is top priority of government.
Addressing the gathering, Vibodh also expressed his concern over the martyrdom of four jawans who recently died in targeted mortar shelling and firing by Pakistan Rangers at Ramgarh and Chambiyal sector of Samba. Lambasting Pakistan, he called it a coward country having no principle and morals. Moreover, he termed Pakistan a bankrupt country which survives by promoting terrorism. Meanwhile, people of Phali apprised him with the acute shortage of electricity in their area.
