STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Two Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) units, financed under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) were inaugurated on Monday by Vice Chairperson KVIB, Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, one at Bishnah and another at Chatha Hakkal Satwari, Jammu. Secretary/CEO KVIB Rashid Ahmad Qadri, Dy. CEO KVIB Pawan Kumar Gupta, Sarpanchs and Panchs of respective villages among other prominent citizens were present on the occasion. The Vice Chairperson appreciated the efforts of KVIB for establishing units in the villages of Jammu and providing employment to unemployed youth at their doorsteps. She informed that an amount of Rs. 5.75 lakh as Margin Money has been released by the KVIB in favour of the entrepreneurs.
