Amritsar:- An unclaimed bag, apparently forgotten behind by a passenger, created a scare at the Sri Guru Ramdass International Airport here today.
A Punjab Police team, CISF sleuths and a bomb disposal squad arrived at the spot and cordoned off the after the bag was discovered in the parking area.
However, when the bag was opened after clearance by the dog and bomb disposal squads, two wrist watches, medicines, tooth brush, pen, cell phone besides some clothes were found inside it, they said.
“It seems some passenger might have forgotten the luggage while leaving the parking lot,” said Superintendent of Police, Jagatpreet Singh.
