SAMBA: Police on Monday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 485 banned intoxicant capsules from their possession in District Samba on Monday.
According to a report, a party of Police Station Vijaypur headed by SI Chetan Kumar under the supervision of S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO Vijaypur, during patrolling in the Main Bazaar Vijaypur intercepted one person who was moving under suspicious circumstances. During his frisking, police recovered 275 intoxicant capsules (Parvon Spas Plus) from his possession. The accused persons identified as Suraj Paul son of Balwant Raj resident Koulpur, Ramgarh was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 21/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Vijaypur.
Similarly, a party of Police Station Ramgarh headed by Inspr. Vikas Dogra, SHO Ramgarh during patrolling in Kamala area, Ramgarh intercepted one Ashok Kumar alias Soki, son of Bajiter Ram resient of Kamala, Ramgarh and during frisking recovered 210 intoxicant Capsules (SPM-PRX PLUS) from his possession. He was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 12/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act was registered against him at Police Station Ramgarh.
