KATRA: Police on Monday arrested two bootleggers and recovered 90 pouches of liquor from their possession.
According to a report, during patrolling a team of Police Station Katra at Counter No: 02 Katra stopped one Maruti Car (JK02U/2715) for checking purpose and during search, police recovered 50 pouches of J&K Excise liquor from the possession of Ariyan son of Raju resident of Barrian Udhampur and 40 pouches from the possession of Ankush Kumar son of Kali Dass resident of Laddan Power House Udhampur making all 90 pouches.
The accused persons were arrested and a case vide FIR No217/17 under section 48(A) Ex. Act 188 RPc was registered against them at Police Station Katra.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision Inspr. Arvind Sambyal SHO Police Station Katra, Ashok Sharma, SDPO Katra and Naresh Singh Addl.SP Katra.
