KUD: Three Jammu-based tourists who have gone to Patnitop on the week-end and stayed in Hotel Subhash at Kud in three adjoining rooms, were robbed of cash and gold/diamond ornaments during the intervening night of 27/28th June, 2015.
According to police, in the first incident, one Vivek Sareen, son of Ashok Sareen, resident of Patoli Jammu was robbed of cash amounting to Rs 20,000 and a key of his vehicle, in the second incident, one Rajneesh Gupta, son of Janak Raj Gupta, resident of Trikuta Nagar Jammu was robbed of Rs 12,000 and three gold/diamond rings and in the third case one Kamal Saini, son of Dev Raj Saini, resident of Bakshi Nagar Jammu was robbed of Rs 28,000 and 30 grams of gold. Reports under FIR 51/15, 52/15, 53/15 respectively have been registered in all the cases.
The Kud police have rounded off some people including the hotel staff and outsiders for investigation but so far there was no clue about the theft.
