STATE TIMES NEWS RAJOURI: Tithwal Brigade as a part of its operation Sadhbavna distributed winter clothing including sweaters, woolen caps, gloves, etc among the students of Government Middle School Hidayatpur of Tehsil Nowshera and also installed two hand pumps in villages Rani and Narian in district Rajouri. The project was inaugurated by Commander of the Brigade in a modest ceremony organized by the school authority and also locals on Thursday. The initiative was aimed at uplifting the under privileged children of the area to enable them to attend the school daily during winter season. Installation of two hand pumps as part of drinking water scheme at village Rani and Narian was to meet the basic requirement of potable water of the residents of two villages. It may be noted that under Op Sadhbhavna Indian Army undertakes such initiatives in remote areas to fulfill the basic need of the students and the local people and to establish connect with them. Appreciating this noble gesture, the school headmaster Charan Singh and Ali Jan Sarpanch of the village Rani and Sajan Sarpanch Narian expressed their gratitude and conveyed that such goodwill gesture will not only take care of the needs of the children and locals but further help in strengthening the bonds between the army and locals.
