JAMMU: Three absconders who had gone underground after making a murderous attack on one Jatinderpal Singh (believed to be close aide of Barkat Singh) alias Dixson son of Prithpal Singh resident of Lower Gadigarh a few days back over an rivalry, have been arrested by the Gadigarh Police team headed by SI Gurupal Singh from Punjab.
The absconders arrested have been identified as Narinder Singh alias Jangi and Karamjit Singh alias Karma both sons of Khazan Singh resident of Lower Gadigarh and Chanchal Singh son of Amrik Singh also resident of Gadigarh. These absconders were wanted under FIR 43/2018 under section 307/34 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act.
According to police there was an old rivalry between the parties in which Narinder Singh son of Khazan Singh was attacked by Jatinder Singh son of Prithpal Singh and a case FIR 3/2018 under section 207 already stands registered. As per the details Jatinderpal Singh was attacked on March 2 night when he was on his way to home and the attackers managed to flee from the spot. He was immediately shifted to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu and was admitted for treatment. On the insistence of his family members, the youth was shifted to Ludhiana.
