SAMBA: Police on Friday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing three bovines and arrested the driver.
According to a report, a team of Ghagwal Police Station headed by SI Rajeshwar Singh laid a Naka on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Tapyal and intercepted a Mahindra (JK02C-1833) coming from Kathua. During checking, police found three bovines laden in it. Police arrested the driver of the vehicle namely Mushtaq Ahmed son of Noor Allah resident of Ramban and registered a case vide FIR No 10/2018 under section 188 2/3 PCA act against him at Ghagwal Police Station.
